The 8824 Aydin Display is designed and built to high military standards which require a solid and reliable mechanical design to protect the unit against shock, vibration and extreme environments in a variety of multi-platforms. The 8824’s Bulkhead Mount allows the unit to be hard mounted on any U.S. Navy ship.
The 8824 Display comes standard with PCAP Touchscreen but has options for Resistive or No Touch (EMI Window Only). The display is high resolution (1920 x 1200) and features an LED Backlight, convenient front controls and a wide viewing angle with multiple video inputs (DVI-D and VGA).
This COTS 24″ Bulkhead / Console Mount Display is designed to meet a multitude of stringent military requirements which include; MIL-STD-810F, MIL-S-901D, MIL-STD-167-1A Type 1 and MIL-STD-461E.
The 8824 Display comes completely sealed meeting drip all over specifications and has a fanless design for silent operation. The unit has a thin profile measuring 2.7″ thick, a laminated optical stack and extended lifecycle.
The 8824 Display adds to the Aydin Defense product line which comes in a variety of sizes ranging from 10″ to 65″. Aydin has been designing and supplying ruggedized displays, smart displays / thin client displays and computer workstations for military programs for 50 years.
